🔱 Why Nandi in Vastu?

  • Symbol of patience, stability, and dharma.
  • Nandi embodies obedience, strength, and focused energy—qualities that can be used to neutralize negative effects in specific directions.

🧭 Placement of Nandi in Vastu (Zone-wise Remedies)

Zone Purpose of Remedy Remedy Details
South Zone (Fire + Discipline) To enhance discipline, confidence, willpower, and reduce laziness. Place a brass or stone Nandi bull facing North in the South Zone.
Southwest Zone (Relationship & Skills) To stabilize relationships, remove betrayal, and enhance trust & bonding. Place Nandi facing East in the SW zone, ideally on a stone or wood pedestal.
North Zone (Career) To block career obstacles, protect from deception, and enhance clarity and direction. A white marble Nandi facing South can be placed in the North zone.
East Zone (Social Connections & Sunrise Energy) To strengthen social reputation, support from authorities, and enhance clarity and respect. Place Nandi facing West in the East zone—can be small in size, marble preferred.
Entrance Vastu Dosha (Especially South-facing) To guard against negative energies entering, especially when the main door is in a less auspicious direction (like South or WSW). Place a Nandi bull facing inward, near the main door, on the right-hand side of the entrance from inside.

General Vastu Nandi Guidelines

  • Always use pure material (brass, copper, stone, or white marble).
  • Place Nandi elevated (not directly on the floor) using a clean wooden or stone base.
  • Nandi should always be calm and seated – avoid aggressive postures.
  • Keep it clean and don’t place it in the bathroom, kitchen, or under stairs.

🧘‍♂️ Optional Rituals (for Activation)

  • On a Monday, offer raw rice, bilva leaves, and chant:

    “Om Nandikeshvaraya Namah” (108 times)

  • Whisper your Vastu intention into Nandi’s ear (e.g., “remove laziness and increase focus”)
